Website Care Packages

Do you find you simply don’t have the time, knowledge or inclination to do all the stuff you really should be doing to keep your website going?

  • clearing out your hosting email account to stop it overflowing
  • upgrading your WordPress installation when there is a new security release
  • keeping your plugins updated
  • reviewing your website for broken links, so your site doesn’t appear broken and useless
  • keeping your copy up to date and fresh
  • any other bits & pieces you might need done each month

I offer my WordPress clients a monthly support service,
which covers all of this … and more.

  • We can devise a package that best suits your needs and budget, and each month I’ll do all the techie stuff you don’t have time for.
  • I’ll report back on anything that needs attention on your site. If it exceeds the time remaining on your package, we’ll discuss the options.

Please note that adhoc (informal) support is charged at a higher hourly rate. These package rates above are lower to reflect a saving for committing to an ongoing arrangement.

The Gold Care Package is a totally bespoke package, with a tailored number of hours, and a payment plan. Ask me about it!
Additional Terms and Conditions
  • These are terms additional to the standard Terms & Conditions
  • The initial term for monthly packages is 3 months, payable monthly in advance through Paypal; after that there is a rolling 30-day notice period for both parties, with payments to be made in advance at the start of each month of support.
    Bronze/Silver/Gold packages are payable by bank transfer in advance.
  • Support starts from the date of invoice.
  • Any unused time will roll over for a maximum of one calendar month.
  • And if you go over the hours you’ve purchased, I’ll let you know & I simply bill you at the end of the month for the extra time you authorise.
    The invoice for extra time is payable upon receipt (i.e. immediately)
  • Times will be logged using the online system “”; time reports will not be sent unless specifically requested.
  • This package doesn’t include copy-writing, but does include updating of copy with text provided by the client.

Note 1 : Time is billed in 15 minute segments, so 40 minutes will incur a charge for 3/4 of an hour; 25 minutes will incur a charge for 1/2 an hour.

Note 2 : if you encounter problems on the website, the cost of restoring a site to a functioning state may not be covered by the time in your package so you may incur extra costs. Some hosting companies charge for doing restores, which would be another additional cost, depending on what backups you have available.
